10th Annual Sunnyside Music Fest

The Sunnyside Music Fest is looking to add members to our board! Originally established to help the fest obtain 501(c)3 status, we are now defining and expanding the role of the board.
Ideally, all board members have been involved with the Fest for 2 or more years in a leadership role or other capacity as a sponsor, musician, or community leaders. Board members should (but do not need to) live in Greater Highlands, and have a strong commitment to the neighborhood.
Board members serve the Fest in an advisory capacity to give advice, impart past knowledge and learnings, and fundraise. Each member commits to a 2-year term and a $200 cash or product donation. Time commitment includes a 2-hour meeting once a month and several hours of committee work as needed.
Board members can only hold a board position, they can not also run a Festival Committee. However, they can serve in a volunteer capacity, host events and help fundraise.
No previous board experience is necessary, simply a desire to help run the fest from a philosophical oversight level. Enthusiasm, thoughtfulness and willingness to teach are all desired qualities. To apply, please send a letter of intent to info@sunnysidemusicfest.org.
